Chicken & Dumplings

This is an all-time Fall family favorite! It's warm, comforting and hearty. (It's good left over the next day too (if there is any, LOL)
Course lunch, brunch, dinner, chicken, Main Course

Ingredients
  

  • 2-3 lrg chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 cans cream of chicken soup
  • 2 cans biscuits

Instructions
 

  • Boil chicken breasts in large pot on the stovetop until done. Cut chicken into small pieces.
  • Add soup and butter to broth and bring to a rapid boil.
  • Cut each biscuit into 4 pieces and roll each piece into a ball.
  • Add the chicken to the boiling soup and butter mixture.
  • Add the dumplings and salt and black pepper to taste.
  • Cook on medium to low heat for 15 to 20 minutes.
