Gaga’s Cornbread Dressing

This was my grandmother's cornbread dressing recipe. We live in the south so we eat dressing and not stuffing. This recipe is delicious and definitely a family favorite!
Course Side Dish

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 sm yellow onion, chopped
  • 2 cans chicken broth
  • 3 lrg eggs
  • 1 tsp ground sage
  • 1/2 tsp celery salt
  • 1 pkg cornbread, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Make cornbread according to package directions. Crumble
  • Add crumbled cornbread to all other ingredients and mix together.
  • Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
