Baked Herb Fish Fillets

Healthy and flavorful fish fillets can be cooked and served in under 30 minutes and the whole family will be asking for seconds!

Ingredients
  

  • 4 1-1/4 lbs orange roughy, tilapia or sole fillets
  • 1/2 cup Italian-flavored bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 egg white, lightly beaten
  • 1 small lemon

Instructions
 

  • Combine bread crumbs, parmesan cheese, garlic powder and salt together in a 1-quart zip top bag; label with name, date, preparation instructions and attach to fillet package.
  • Freeze raw fish fillets in a 1-gallon zip top bag.
  • To prepare: Thaw fish fillets and bread crumbs/herbs in refrigerator.
  • Lightly beat egg white, and dip fillets in it.
  • Put fillets one at a time in bag with herb mixture; make sure each fillet is completely coated. Squeeze lemon juice over top of each fillet.
  • Remove fillets from bag and arrange in baking dish. Bake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes.
  • At the same time, prepare your side dish. Serve with fish fillets.
