Easy Slow Cooker Brisket

This brisket recipe has become our family's "go to" for Christmas Dinner. It's easy, delicious and pairs well with our favorite side dishes.

  • 1 Slow Cooker

Ingredients
  

  • 3.5 lb brisket
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1 cup beef broth or water

Instructions
 

  • In a small bowl, combine all dry seasoning ingredients. Set aside.
  • Open the brisket bag and drain most of the juices into the sink. Place the brisket in the slow cooker, fat side up, with 1 cup of beef broth or water at the bottom of the slow cooker.
  • Sprinkle the top of the brisket with seasoning mixture. Set the slow cooker to low heat and cook for 8 hours.
  • Slice against the grain and enjoy! Serve with your favorite side dishes!
