
Quinoa Breakfast Bowl
Easy and delicious breakfast that can be eaten hot or cold. You can also change it up with a different cereal, different fruits and different milk.
Ingredients
- 1 cup quinoa, cooked (can also be oatmeal, grits or cream of wheat)
- 1/2 cup mixed berries
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 banana, sliced
- 1/2 cup almond milk
- poppy seeds for garnish, if desired.
Instructions
- Cook your hot cereal of choice according to package directions.
- Top with fruit, cinnamon and poppy seeds.
- Add milk and eat hot or cold.
- Prep Tip: Can also be stored into jars or containers in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. Store cereal and fruit separately. Add milk right before eating.
