
Meatballs in Marinara Sauce
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef or turkey
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
- Marinara Sauce (homemade or in a jar)
- Parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients together (except for marinara sauce), roll into meatballs.
- Bake at 400° for 15-20 minutes. Cool and freeze flat.
- Freeze meatballs separately from sauce or together in a freezer safe container or bag.
- To Prepare: Thaw meatballs and sauce in refrigerator.
- Reheat meatballs in sauce on the stove or microwave.
- Serve over your favorite pasta.
